In the very early morning hours on this day - 18 years ago this little person came into my world as stubborn as he could be and took my breath away. I cant begin to tell you how much he changed my life. I dont think I ever thought I could love someone so very much. He learned to walk and talk in full understandable sentences before he was a year old. Hes as smart as he can be. Ive prayed that we raised him right and hes proven that to me over and over. He was and still is such a dare devil. Tell him he cant or wont do something and youll be proven wrong. Hes never been afraid of what others thought. They can take him or leave him just the way he is. He knows that true friends stick in there through the thick and thin. Hes been taught that hard work gets you where you want to be. And that if you dont work for it then it wont mean half as much to you. Hes got a hell of a sense of humor. You never know whats coming out of his mouth to make you laugh. He might tell you a story that is as true as the day is long or he could tell you about this one time in Nam and how he thought he brought diseases home with him! Hes challenged me when I needed it. Hes supported me in many tough decisions that kiddos his age should never have had to even cross paths with. Hes lost a sibling and became stronger and smarter because of it. This little person grew up to become one of the most caring, sweet, smart, funny, loving gentlemen I know. I thank God that I was chosen to be his mom. Each day that passes I pray that he continues to grow into a better man. I am always so very proud to tell people that hes my son. I hope youre birthday is awesome Thomas Graham Nunn! Enjoy your day!
