In the vineyards of Cavanera Etna Estate there is a rare and precious treasure. The oldest part of this wonderland vineyard lays along the profile of the erupted lava, with plants characterized by extraordinary shape, size and vitality. They distinguish themselves from all others by the growing of the trunk, often evolved into concentric circles, spirals and twisted arms. Creatures that Time has forged, bringing them to us full of history and yet vital , tough, full of fruits. They are rootstock less, some of them have been planted before the Phylloxera in the early twentieth century. They are extraordinary plants. Nei vigneti della tenuta di Cavanera Etnea c’è un tesoro raro e prezioso. Lungo il profilo della sciara, si estende la parte più antica di questa vigna delle meraviglie, con piante straordinarie per forma, dimensione, forza vitale. Si distinguono da tutte le altre per la formazione del tronco, spesso evoluto in cerchi concentrici, spire e braccia contorte. Creature che il tempo ha forgiato portandole a noi, cariche di storia eppure vitali, tenaci, fruttifere. Sono a piede franco, alcune precedono la stessa comparsa della Fillossera ai primi del novecento. Sono esseri straordinari.
