In the wake of Congress having passed a bill calling for the audit of the Federal Reserve which, should it happen, would be HUGE, it occurs to me how little any of us knows about that institution. There is a wonderful book out there called The Creature from Jekyll Island written some years ago. It describes the history of the Fed and exactly how that institution works. And heres why I love the internet. There is a series on Youtube done by the author of the book, so that you can listen in easily digestible tidbits. This is fascinating stuff, people, and you need to educate yourselves on this topic. Most people couldnt tell you what the Federal Reserve is, how it came to be, and what it has been doing. Jeff?
