In the wake of the tragedy in Sydney and the subsequent unrelated school attack in Peshawar, a number of faith and non faith based community groups have arranged for a community meet at ROMA STREET PARKLANDS, CELEBRATION PRECINCT on SATURDAY 20 December at 5pm. This event has been coordinated by Holland Park Mosque in association with numerous other organisations which represent the wider Queensland Muslim community. The event is intended to commemorate the lives of Tori Johnson & Katrina Dawson who tragically lost their lives in Sydney as well as the children and teachers who were killed in Peshawar. It will also serve as a tangible expression of our compassion, unity and love for one another. Condolence books will be available for those wishing to sign.
