In the wee hours of Sunday morning, some idiot apparently ran into a power pole in our street, knocking it over. How on Earth this was even possible in our tiny little street is beyond me. Anyone familiar with my street would know what I mean. Anyway, unlike some residents, our power is now working but phone line is not so we still have no landline or Internet access, other than my mobile devices. Not the best situation when we both work from home and rely heavily on the Internet. Hopefully, someone will install a new cable soon and we can both get back to work. In a way, I guess its rather fortunate that the interview I had scheduled for this morning has been cancelled.
