In the words of Forrest Gump, "Sh** Happens." That being said, what the holy hell is the big deal with people and animal feces? Seriously? Feces was meant to go back to nature, to be buried by the animal and the elements. And while I certainly do not want to walk in a big pile of crap, I also think it really screws with nature and logic to require people to pick up dog poo. So what if the dog poos on the outer edge of a lot? No one is walking there, so big deal. Of course, I clean it, given the fact that NH has dumb laws about it, even though there is no sign posted on this lot in question. However, the next time someone asks if I am "going to pick that up" (even though no one else walking their dogs around here does), I plan to challenge their logic before I commence with my cleanup - "Sure, why not? A soon as you come down and pick up all the bird, chipmunk, squirrel, and other animal droppings that are so prevalent here." Maybe I should also invite them over for a litter box cleaning party...
