In the world of weddings, there is one publication, I would wager, most event pros strive to be in. That would be Grace Ormonde Wedding Style. Today, after almost ten years in the business, that happened for me! Melanie Burroughs Cole and Eddie were married at The Peabody Memphis in December 2013. Melanies only wish was the color green. I asked her, Can I put trees on the table? She said, Sure! Melanies mom, Nelda, wanted to be sure the tablescapes were not *too much*. Well, after I put a tree on the table, I wasnt sure where to take that. But, we all worked very closely together and made it happen! When we revealed the room to Nelda before the reception began, she literally jumped up and down and said, Its better than I had even imagined. Its *just* enough. Mission Accomplished!! PLEASE enjoy this feature that not only belongs to me but to our fabulous photographer Ross Oscar Knight and to our floral production team at Holliday Flowers and Events. Brent, Michael and Gina never waivered when I said the words trees on tables. They took it a step further and created a life-sized tree as part of the custom bar they built.
