In the year 2004, Lieutenant Triveni Singh attained martyrdom at Jammu railway station and was later awarded the highest gallantry award of peace time - The Ashok Chakra. After Trivenis martyrdom life was never the same for his parents, Smt Pushplata and Capt Janmej Singh. First Capt Janmej Singh lost eye sight of one of his eyes and recently when he was admitted in a hospital for heart surgery, thieves came and stole good and cash worth 16 lakh from his home. Further during heart surgery, due to doctors negligence, Capt Janmej Singh lost excessive blood and his hemoglobin was reduced to 4 points. We are Thankful to God that he survived. Smt Pushplata and Capt Janmej Singh lost their only son for the nation and see what in return we as a nation are offering them. If possible do introspect.
