In the years that he was with us, he was able to touch, move, and influence every single person who came across him. He commanded respect by respecting, he gained love by loving. He demonstrated knowledge in his words, and he showed wisdom in his actions. He was a rebel in his own right. He knew which rules to keep and which rules to break. A servant but not a slave, a master but not a tyrant. He was a free spirit, bound to none, a master of his own time. To many, he was a friend. To a few, he was a brother. To many, he was a leader. A teacher. A preacher. A father. A rock. But whatever you might see him as, Tatay will always be Tatay. Universally. Thank YOU Lord for the gift of Tatay. :)
