In their latest attempt to dismantle Obamacare, members of the House of Representatives, led by Speaker Boehner, voted last week to help employers avoid paying their share of the costs of insurance for employees who work fewer than 40 hours per week. As a consequence, employers seeking to reduce costs could cut the hours of work for full-time workers to 39 or less and eliminate health coverage without any penalty.
