In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.(John 5 vs 33). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today. In our Focal Scripture, there was a multitude of people who were impotent, blind, lame, withered etc waiting for the angel to stir the water. They were all in search of healing, and only one person could receive healing in a season. So, there was excess demand on the pool, but there was scarcity of healing. It was a case of demand exceeding supply. Notice that when Jesus showed up, in the midst of scarce supplies, Jesus made a provision specifically for that man. In the midst of many competitors searching for the same thing, Jesus brought a special supply of healing to the sick man at the pool. When it seemed that demands exceeded supplies, Jesus brought a divine supply all by himself. Friend,God says, when the supplies of men run short, you will receive divine supplies. When it seems that everyone is competing for the same thing,God will give you your own. Like the man at the pool of Bethesda, others may be stronger and smarter than you,but God says, You will not be put to shame. God will come through for you quickly! Everyone at the pool was waiting for an angel to stir the water but when Jesus showed up,He brought healing to this man unexpectedly: You will receive divine supplies from unexpected sources. How far you can go will not be limited by limited opportunities. Your chances of success will not be reduced simply because everyone has joined in the same race. Look beyond what is available around you and look up to God and you shall have Divine Supplies! Pray with me,Lord, I receive my Divine Supplies today in Jesus name. Have a Beautiful Tuesday!
