In thinking about the end times and what we, as Christians, - TopicsExpress

In thinking about the end times and what we, as Christians, understand is coming to pass in these last days, the revealing of the Anti-Christ, the signing of the peace treaty, the 7 years of tribulation & the battle of Armageddon; we understand that we are going to come to the place of either bowing in allegiance to the Anti-Christ or be put to death. We see these things taking form today & coming to pass. Here in the USA our freedoms, morals, and Christianity is under attack, and in order for the world to move into that place of One World Government & One World religion, they must take away our Flag, Our Christianity & belief in God, stripping it out of our schools, our judicial systems, break down our laws and morals, and replace them with lies, deceit, and all forms of compromise and darkness. Then, we will either bow to agree with their views and religion, or literally be put to death. This is where all of the events that are unfolding in the world is leading, and those of us who knows Gods word, knows that the Lord our God has indeed told us that this day would come; and is now here. So I decided to look back in the book of Daniel in the 3rd chapter and King Nebuchadnezzars creation of the Image of God and the decree that he forced upon the people to fall down and worship, to portray what it will be like in these lasts days. We will be standing in the place as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego confronted with the choice to either bend and bow to worship the idol made of God; or be cast into the fiery furnace. Daniel 3:4-6 says that To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, That at the time you hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, you fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up: And whoso falls not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then what occurred next was that at the time that the music came forth, that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego (Jews) chose not to bow to the image, and then the Chaldeans accused the Jews unto the King, and they were brought before King Nebuchadnezzar where he said unto them in verse 14; Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, do not you serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up? And then in short terms he told them if when you hear the music you bow down to the image that I have created; it shall be well with you; but if you refuse; you shall be cast into the burning fiery furnace. Then he said unto them; Who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands? Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego response came and they said unto him...Verse 16-18 O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto you, O king, THAT WE WILL NOT SERVE THY gods, NOR WORSHIP THE GOLDEN IMAGE THAT YOU HAVE SET UP. King Nebuchadnezzar was furious; and so shall the anti-christ be, and we, just as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego shall be delivered up to the point of death for our Faith and belief in God. It is not a matter of will it come, but a matter of when. So, in the end, they three were thrown into the fiery furnace for standing firm for their faith unto death, and as a result Gods word says in verse 25 that Nebuchadnezzar looked and said...Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son Of God. Then Nebuchadnezzar in Verse 28 said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent His angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in Him, and have changed the kings word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. God has forwarned us, that we to, would be hated of all men, persecuted, and even put to death for our faith in these last days. We are going to be confronted to take the mark of the beast, bow and pledge our allegiance to him, or be put to death. Perhaps those of us who escape these things being raptured, will not get to this stage, but millions will be in the valley of decision, literally being forced to take the mark, or suffer starvation and suffering as the world as never seen before, nor ever will again. My point this morning is that we be paying attention, strengthening ourselves in the Spirit, and trust in the Lord, even unto the point of death. We must have this kind of faith and trust in God. This story of the fiery furnace deplicts the truth of what it will be like in the last days. We have to stand firm, even to the point of choosing to be put to death for our faith. Time is now.
