In this dark, damp and distant world we live in one can truly find comfort in the fold of one’s own mind. The lost and confused may be strong and proud inside them selves. While the reality of the person they are may be distilled from there actions on the outside. there true self will never truly be understood from the strange and wicked people they seem to become on the outside. they will hide all that they are from the world and in the end there left with only their own thoughts for comfort. Most of there thoughts are just the child inside them trying not to scream and yell from the wicked world they are confronted with. We make are way threw the chaos trying to hold a good front. But in reality we are inches away from the chasm we made of are deepest fears, regrets, challenges and lies. The pinnacle of this madness we made is that we hide from the darker parts of our mind to shield are inner self from the chaos. We all strive to better our self but we really never think of that day were we tumble and fall and the only thing left to catch us is this mass of our worst feelings and thoughts. The ones that would grab you and pull you down to the depths that your mind if you let them making the very world you hold dear a toxic realm. Drenching your world with Pain and anguish and the very thought of love and joy would be like knives ripping deep into your sole, tearing it to shrews. Feeling what you did, seeing what you could of done and knowing that you did them wrong. Your new existence is one of lost and misunderstood feelings. These new emotions will make up your mind only to be dashed away as the pain rages deeper and deeper. Theres no comfort in this new world you are lost forever in. till you learn that its all just a jail you made up to hold back the pain you never thought you would see again. There is Nothing that will stop you from leaving but you cant leave anything behind, you must confront it all. Except this world you made and make it your own. the pain, the hurt, the longing all must be dealt with before you could ever truly leave. You will find that slippery slope of a chasm to be quite a small bump to overcome then. Than and only than can you truly start building a better you out of the scared ashes of the person you made your self out to be. -I wrote this long ago .... Still fits my head
