In this day and age, we all need to save money. Buying meat at the grocery store is expensive. Well, I am going to pass along a tip. Faye and I tried those Ziplock bags that you put your hand in and then pick up the meat and reverse the bag making an individual portion to freeze. Well, what we have found is the sandwich bags that fold over will do the same thing. This allows us to buy the family pack of meat and package them in our freezer the way we want. Just wrap the portion and then put them in the larger freezer bag - when it is time for a meal- take out what you need.....I just did some freezer bags with chicken legs (2 in a portion) and thighs(1 each in a wrapper). We do the same with pork chops and other meats. Helps us save and since there is the 2 of us and Leeloo, it works out great. Give it a try.
