In this edition of the Moria McTaggert School of Mutants We Dont See No More, I give you Bedlam. Bedlam is/was an often forgotten member of X-Force when Pete Wisdom was briefly their leader. Bedlam was one of those characters that had a lot of gusto and with his power set be either the perfect villain or hero, whom I always liked. His mutant ability allows him to generate a bio-EM field that wreaks havoc with electrical and mechanical systems, sense and perceive energy signatures, generate electromagnetic pulses, track others by their biological em signature, and can affect the neural chemical responses of a living brain to induce states such as pain, sleep, or confusion. Granted, that sounded a lot like Static Shock and he resembled him, until he was redesigned with the X across his head, but still, very, very cool. Bedlam was one of the X-Men youngsters to be captured and crucified on the front lawn of the old Xavier School by the Church of Humanity and seemingly died, only to show up on during the riots of Proposition X, but hasnt been seen since . Hes a character I wish an X writer would revisit or bring back, but I know thats asking too much.
