In this new paper, Cyperus inselbergensis Lye (Cyperaceae) is described as new to science. This species, previously misidentified as Kyllinga tenuifolia, is apparently a common and almost ubiquious species on shallow soil on inselbergs in northern Gabon and adjacent Cameroun. It differs from Kyllinga tenuifolia in many respects, i.e. by its hemispherical inflorescence, smaller spikelets, different glumes with scabrid midrib, and smaller fruits. onlinelibrary.wiley/doi/10.1111/j.1756-1051.2013.00142.x/abstract
