In this relationship I gave myself fully to love. I shared my feelings openly, was happy when my partner was happy, because that is love. When they thought of pursuing a career in comedy I said screw it, quit, Ill support us when I graduate in the spring. I moved there, set fear aside. I had my own life and sense of self but at the same time wanted to embrace and accept theirs. Even though this was not returned I regret nothing in the way I acted because I was true to myself at all times. I am proud of this and that I have continued this even after. You do not need to fear those that will try to suck the energy and love out of you, fear that things will change, because these are never-ending resources. As long as you have compassion and empathy then you have the love and energy of all those around you. True compassion. It is where the purest and most intense joy comes from. It is what connects us all. We are all a well for each others happiness. My pain is parralled by joy. I feel such light and energy and faith in myself and others. This is the joy that those lacking compassion will grasp so hard to try to find. Its there all along.
