In this upcoming election, none of the corporate-party candidates - TopicsExpress

In this upcoming election, none of the corporate-party candidates want to debate us. Can you think of why? Andrew Cuomo, in fact, won’t debate anyone at all — neither Democrat or Republican. He fears, and rightly so, that his corporatist agenda will be exposed, and folks will come to know exactly where he stands on the issues that affect their children, their pocketbooks and their health. They will find, of course, that he stands with big business and union busting — and that his first target is our teachers. Now the Republican candidate and Cuomo’s Democratic primary opponent are freezing us out of their debate to take place on September 4. People in New York State need to know we are on their side, but if they can’t hear us — we will not have their vote. I’d be grateful if you could reach deep and make a strong donation to your campaign: Please donate online by clicking here on our secure website: https://howiehawkins.nationbuilder/donate?utm_campaign=debates_august&utm_medium=email&utm_source=howiehawkins The debate will be covered by the mainstream media and papers for weeks to come. This is a great opportunity for our campaign to reach out to millions of voters who are clamoring for real change. We want to put ads on radio and TV so that voters hear about our progressive message. You can be sure I will be speaking loudly about the Green New Deal agenda and challenging the lies and misinformation emanating from both parties. But I need your help to get to the podium — so I urge you to donate today, especially if you haven’t donated before. In Solidarity, Howie Hawkins
