In this video, I am driving into Atwater Village. I recorded this video at 7:25 am on August 30th, 2013. As the video clearly shows, even though I am driving during rush hour, there is no traffic, except for a backup at the end of the video. This backup is due to cars coming off the 5 freeway that are doing a U-turn at Atwater Village to go back to Silver Lake.This U-turn will be eliminated by the new bridge design; as will the resulting traffic. This bridge can easily handle the reduction of 1 lane. Therefore, I believe that option 3 for the bridge design is the only option! As a side note: Although it may appear that I am speeding, I am driving within the speed limit. In fact, cars are passing me. Safety first!
