In this year two people I know and respect, Cassie Miller Thornburg and Pam Compton Hunt have been hit hard with challenges. Pam was in a diabetic coma and nearly died and Cassie suffered two strokes. Both of these special people were in a terrible place and yet what touches me is to see so many people come together in prayer and sending warm wishes and never giving up home. Yes medical personnel and medicine itself helps, but having suffered from my own health issues I know that faith, positive thinking and the support of others is such a powerful thing that these two ladies will continue to recover day by day and having witnessed this first hand, I confess I am in awe of the power of people coming together and yes, the power of prayer...I have seen too many miracles to ignore this and want Cassie and Pam to always know my care, support and my good wishes. I think they are both miracles.
