In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes-Judges 21:25… Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priests, and without law…And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries… 2 Chronicles 15:3,5...Do we still have kings now? Ruling kings…What does 1Timothy 2: 2 say…For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty… We may have them now but not ruling kings, which is as distinct from a democratic system of government. We have Presidents. Right now we have great numbers of people who are in the five fold ministry(Ephesians 4:11) and show us the laws we are to obey but there are very many Korah’s (Numbers 18: 1-33)in our midst despite the fact that we have a true God who performs miracles on our behalf. I often ask people I preach to, how they would have felt 20 years ago in Nigeria when miracles and prophecies were not so present. I don’t get answers but what I know is that people don’t study or at least read the scriptures daily but yet are the biggest “talkers” against miracles. They are like what Mark 12:24 says; Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? Deuteronomy 34:12 says…And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel…it is well.
