In those remarkable speeches that Winston Churchill made to Parliament a century ago, he spoke of the eventual cost of pandering to the dictator. He inveighed the spirit of Ethelred the Unready and what tragedy his reign had brought to England And he said: All is over. Silent, mournful, abandoned, broken, Czechoslovakia recedes into the darkness.... And when Churchill spoke again he said: And do not suppose this is the end, he warned. This is only the beginning of the reckoning. This is only the first sip, the first foretaste of a bitter cup which will be proffered to us year by year unless by a supreme recovery of moral health and martial vigour, we arise again and take our stand for freedom as in the olden times. For Czechoslovakia, read the Ukraine....and then ask yourself if you are surprised that one of BoxoRocks first acts as President was to return to Great Britain a bust of Churchhill that had been in the White House. Vladimir Putin now rules the world and the President of the United States is clueless.
