In todays Overnight News: The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Venango, Forest, Clarion and Jefferson counties effective through early Friday morning. Snow showers are expected today and tonight with possible accumulation, especially during the evening hours. Portions of the region could see in excess of 2 to 3 inches by early Friday, according to the weather service bulletin. The advisory does not list an expiration time. Along with the snow, today is expected to be breezy with a west wind whipping at 18 to 21 miles per hour and gusts as high as 33 miles per hour. Winds will continue into the evening.
