In todays episode of At the Centerin Smithfield, VA, I just have to stop and tell you all how filled with gratitude we are to be able to witness so many incredible transformations. We felt it was time that we integrated two of our more feral dogs into the main pack. This is always a tense situation on a good day, so when you take two unpredictable dogs who will not respond to human commands, it ups the margin for error. Thankfully, it went very well. In fact, it enabled us to handle Orville & Wilbur more than ever before. Last week, sitting on the deck with them would have been nothing short of a miracle. This week, not only were we on the deck, but we were petting them on that deck. I am so proud of our other dogs who behaved beautifully showing Orville and Wilbur that dogs DO deserve better.
