In two short hours we are leaving for an appointment in the Twin Cities that I have prayed for and dreaded alternately for over a week. My oldest daughter had to take a bath this morning because she could not stand in the shower. Her color is better, but she is struggling with dizziness. She is fine while laying down for the most part, but when she is up, we never know when it is going to hit. Her neurological appointment is at 2 tomorrow, although they have us on the list to get in if there is an earlier opening. I am just thankful for so many things---the friends and family that are praying for us, the doctor/friend who listened and sent her scans in to get us an appointment. The neuro office who got us in in a week instead of three months or so like average. For the Holy Spirit who keeps encouraging this tired Mamma and walks her through each day reminding her of her faith and hope being in Christ alone. It is hard not to be in church today. TOUGH on us. But we know this is just a season for our family (hopefully a very short one) and we will keep our eyes fixed on the Author and Perfecter of our faith....who is faithful. Blessings to all of you.
