In very sweet memory of Freddie, a beloved family member who began - TopicsExpress

In very sweet memory of Freddie, a beloved family member who began his life under very different circumstances. Freddie was a very handsome orange tabby who, along with his brother, Hermie, spent most of the couple years of life stuck in the basement, and never had a true sense of family. When they were about a year and a half old, they were brought in to the animal shelter, which turned out to be the best thing that ever could have happened to them. Freddie and his brother found a tremendous home, with a family who loved them dearly, and appreciated all their remarkable qualities. Freddie was such a friendly boy, so outgoing and sociable, and he particularly enjoyed spending time with his beloved mom and aunt. He loved to snuggle up and sleep with them, and he even relished curling up cozily underneath the covers in the bed. Freddie was so loved that his family never even minded giving up their pillows at night so that Freddie could sleep on them comfortably. Freddie spent so many happy years with his family, but eventually his great age of 19 years began to catch up with him. His kidneys began to fail, and his family did what was best for him, including giving him fluids at home to keep him hydrated. Freddie spent a wonderful day being spoiled by his family, getting petted and adored, and being brushed as well. He was able to lie comfortably on his pillow that he loved, and have his family petting him so lovingly as he passed peacefully away. To borrow a wonderful quote from Freddie’s family, “pets are God’s love, wrapped in fur,” which was certainly the case for dear Freddie.
