In view of declaration of elections to the Lok Sabha and Legislative Assembly of Sikkim to be held on 12th April 2014, All Arms Licences (Civil) issued in the State of Sikkim (except those issued to the banks and security guards of private companies) have been suspended with immediate effect till the conclusion of election process. Licensees are directed to deposit their Arms & Ammunition at the nearest Police Station latest by 12th March 2014 (last date 12th March 2014) and obtain receipt thereof.
