In what can only be described as the most scariest heart wrenching rescues we have ever done and are still doing...and each time we go back we can only just look and still shake our heads in utter disbelief......We were alerted on Weds teatime by some of our supporters to a gentleman desperate for help...Alan Beesley the duty manger of a massive distribution warehouse in Widnes had been alerted to approx 6or8 tiny kittens living under the pallets and inside the rocksalt bags. Right inbetween hgv loading bays in use 24hrs a day! Thankfully we managed to catch 7kittens in all and have left the trap there which is being checked twice a day to desperatly catch mum and any more babies if there are any...All babies were ok albeit a bit dusty and salty smelling and whilst all were eating well and having milk replacer two unfortunatly took a very sudden turn for the worse last night. After a mad dash to our vets Johnson and Wood just before closing time both have thankfully pulled through and are back with their siblings in the early hours.Phew! To say these are the luckiest kitties weve ever had is an understatement.... The trap remains undisturbed with no food touched but we will keep it there for as long as possible to get mum cat... Just to say a massive thanks to Alan for getting urgent help for these babies and mum. We would be immensley gratefull of any kitten food and Milk replacer which we have on our Amazon Wish List. amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/ls?lid=29G8ZOYH3BXCK Thanks.
