In what follows I am arguing with a admin at Islam Exposed, which page caters to Christian faith far too much. He didnt like my post this morning which I sent to their page in a message, as he (I think its a he) thought he could out argue me when it comes Christian and Jewish origins having to do with human sacrifice: i.e., Abraham shown as almost sacrificing his own son and the OT saying Japhtheh sacrificed his own daughter. What follows below is my last message to him. The people who became the Jews adapted and modified their customs into new laws as an upgrade from what went on previously. Its inferred. Plus the only messianic prophecy that ever hooked me (for 20-30 years)—per Acts 26:22s theme that messianic prophecies are Christianitys empirical evidence for existing—was Daniel 9:24-27, which those four verses Evangelicals now think (since the 19th century) are about antichrist, all of which makes the religion completely preposterous at its very basis for being legitimate and truly historical. I later realized, since humans are so often extremely deceptive—even when it comes to what is termed sacred or spiritual truths—that Daniel 9 must have been copied into new scrolls of Daniel shortly after Pauls time: problem solved. You dont really think that a guy named Daniel wrote all of those some 500 years before Jesus, do you? Jewish priests wrote all of those chapters, adding some new ones to Daniel—their work in progress—from time to time, as job security measures. And ousted priests were living in Qumran during Pauls time copying new scrolls as needed where their long tables and ink wells have been found. You have to go with the preponderance of the evidence in cases like this: put 2 and 2 together instead of letting the creation story in Genesis 1 click off your mind. -DL
