In what may be the final issue of the Melbourne Review, Phil celebrates the truly beautiful 75 minute opus that is Jesus Blood Never Failed Me Yet by Gavin Bryars. A highly recommended addition to the record collection of any Blackeyed Susans fan. The future of the Melbourne Review online hangs in the balance at this stage but the print version ends with this issue. A shame given the paucity of quality publications out there but certainly no great surprise given the difficulties faced by print media at this time. Phil would like to thank all those who have read/liked/shared his monthly musings on song craft these last few years. He says its been fun.
