In yet another world cup final, a team representing 20+ Million people will play against a team that represents 1.27 Billion! I cant remember how many times these teams have played each other where Sri Lanka has lost most of the matches. We are always the underdog when we play against India, we are never picked as the favorites to win a final, and often referred to as the bridesmaids and not the bride when it comes to finals. People in India are probably planning their celebrations while Sri Lankans are hoping that our lions will win the T20 World Cup for the first time. Sanjay Manjrekar never has good things to say about the Sri Lankan team. Two legends possibly three, will be retiring after todays game. They have gone through many disappointing finals since 2007 so it is only fitting that the youngsters in the Sri Lankan Team give all they have to win this final to give our cricketing legends a send off that theyll treasure as long as they live! To appear in so many world cup finals must be a record but this team deserves to win a world cup than any other cricket team in the world today! It has been very difficult to be a Sri Lankan Cricketing Fan because of all the disappointments that we have had in the past but all of that will be forgotten if we win today!
