Inac Leaders are assimulation leaders.. some do well.. some get sucked in trying to get competitive llving up to the government standards.. The Canadian system relies on these leaders to lead their people to the next assimulation plan which is to change the Indian reserves into municipal towns.. Our people will have to give up all claims..which is our lands and soverignty in which the government relies on our traditional territory for the resources to thrive its Economic Development... The power and statues of Band Council leaders have because of their employment, power, status and structure are just too tied up to the governmental structure.. Our people will regret for taking in this Modern Land Claims aggreement to live in municipal town with almost no access to our traditions and have limted rights. We are the inheriters of a land that is thousands of years old... Its a hell of a big compromise just to live in Peace with our neigbors.. He really does NAIL it.. you gatta see and share this :)
