Idiotic vows, laughable ‘Sacrifices’ to pacify Dhritarashtra, the emotional blackmailer. 1. This serial showed him rejecting Draupadi and Pandava marriage, tagging it as a grave adharma and stating that Yudhisthira isn’t eligible to be the king anymore. He repeated the same irritating drama during Arjuna-Subhadra’s wedding, refused to bless them. - These scenes were damn ridiculous and made him appear highly annoying and worse than a fool. Never did Bheeshma reject these two marriages and created a drama by yelling ADHARMA ADHARMA..! Everything’s Starbharata’s fictional crap! 2. Now the succeeding disgusting bend, he giving a vow to Dhritarashtra in exchange of Indraprasth being given to the Pandavas. So, he gave a vow that he would stand by the king’s side forever. This was tagged as a BIG BALIDAAN (Huge sacrifice) because Starbharata’s Bheeshma had packed his stuff to accompany the Pandavas, to live comfortably with them. - Not just sickening but it’s laughable as well. During his lifetime, Devavrata took just one vow, the celibacy one. No second vow has been mentioned in the texts. Starbharata did a major damage to his character by making him ready to accompany the Pandavas. Bheeshma was the embodiment of self-denial; he never ever paid a slight attention to his personal comfort. And Dhritarashtra never blackmailed him. Moreover, what was the need of this non-existent and insane BALIDAAN when they ruined his real ones? The polluting of Bheeshma Pratigya has been cited in Part 1. #admin
