Inauguration of Kawish district office at Lakki Marwat: Alhamdulillah Kawish Welfare Trust has been engaged in serving IDPs of North Waziristan right from the beginning. So far, a variety of activities including distribution of food, household items, festive functions, trauma management for children and medical camps have been successfully organised at Lakki. As needs of IDPs evolve with the length of their stay and changing weather, KWT management decided to establish a local district office at Lakki to cater to these changing needs more effectively. As a first step, need assessment for tents, winter clothes, quilts & bedding has already been initiated and upon its completion, distribution process for these items will start. KWT teams are making every effort to organize supply of these items well before the winters pick up. Pictures of this humble inauguration ceremony of Lakki District Office are attached.
