Inbox-Hey ppnt. So I moved into my private rented 2 bed house last oct and paid roughly 2500 to get in the door (rent upfront, deposit, pet deposit and references and credit checks etc) anyways im moving out to a 2 bed flat private rented again having to pay reference and credit checks, plus then Rent upfront and deposit.. my credit check is in progress and the credit company have called me up saying that my present estate agent wont supply them a reference unless I pay 50+ vat... is this right? I already have to pay check out fees and stuff at the end of my tenancy and frankly im fuming. Ive looked after the property.. despite being told it was professionally cleaned (was a dump and pics to prove it) and then having to pay 50 for professional cleabing end of check out, 50 for gardner (despite my oh being one) 50 for carpets to be cleaned (despite my friend being a carpet cleaner professional) have to have there companies do it not my own! -Nat
