(Inbox) Hi MCAR, question for the group: First off heres the scenario: A friend of mine called himself playing matchmaker between me (Im female) and a single male friend of his. He showed the guy my photo and apparently got a thumbs up, but when he showed me the friends photo it was a thumbs down because the guy is so small. I told him I prefer guys who are my height or taller and he immediately called me vein. I was slightly insulted but I said whatever. Is that really a vein thing? I have dated shorter men and usually they were uncomfortable or I was uncomfortable. Im 57 while his friend is about 52 according too him (he looked shorter in the photo). Is it wrong that I like a man who is big enough to make me feel small? Do physical preferences automatically make a person vein? Its not like I said penis size, income or zip code. I just dont want to feel like an Amazon next to my man. Is that so bad? I realize that I subtract from my dating pool by thinking this way but if thats ok with me is it so bad? People have all kinds of preferences, some want their mate in perfect shape, with long or short hair, overweight, muscular, curvaceous, bald, bearded, petite, etc. It doesnt mean they think less of others who arent these things, it just means theyre not attracted to them. What are your thoughts MCAR? #MCAR
