Inbox Hi please can you post for me, Im a private renting tenant and weve had lots of problems with damp, they damp proofed the house in summer but there are so many more issues and the house is so damp that all my wooden furniture is going moudly?!? I open my windows on I have my heating on a lot and I clean like crazy so its nothing Im doing wrong 󾌣 I need the deposit back to be able to move out, is there anyway I can get it back on the day of moving out if the house is not in a for state for us to live in? Not only has wooden furniture gone mouldy, but so has EVERYTHING under my stairs and under there is my daughters high chair pushchair - all mouldy. Please no nasty comments if there is something I can be doing please advise me, Im going mad it costs a fortune to heat this house (£200 a month in gas alone) because its so wet and old. I need to get out but cant without the bond back to put on a new house. I dont know what to do! Im pregnant and my partner has asthma. Its been playing up since weve lived here and Ive had the first chest infection in my life recently.. Cant help but wonder its all related. :,( manda x
