Inbox: Im just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this. Back in June I went to get information on a college in my area. Thats all I was doing was getting information. The lady who I talked to gave me papers to see what kind of financial aid and student loans I would qualify for, I told the lady I just wanted to see what I could do and that I was not ready to enroll I needed a few days to think on it. She said Okay I understand she said let me enter this into the computer to see what payments we could do. Ten minutes later she said okay your enrolled you start classes first week in July. I told her I wasnt ready yet I had to figure things out and she said its too late. I was mad because I told her before she put info in that I needed a few days to look into scheduling, a car and gas money ( I worked at walmart and only had $50 every two weeks left over for gas money after other bills were paid.) She said well if I cancel your student status now youll have to pay the $15,000. So since I cant pay $15000 I had no choice but to go. Then I got pregnant and everything was going fine until I had a threat of a miscarriage at work and was told to stay on bed rest. I talked to lady at school and said I now am not working so I cant afford the payments she told me we can work it out so you dont have to make payments right now. I said Okay Ill stick it out. A month later I got called into her office being threatened with expulsion if I didnt make a payment. So I got my doctors note put in for leave of absence. So I havent been working or in school since October. My daughter is due in April and now Im getting calls getting threatened saying I have 30 days to make a payment or they will just take all my taxes. I told the woman who called me about what I went through with the school and she said they never informed them of me being on leave that they said I just left. I am now fustrated, stressed and very very depressed. My tax money is needed to go for a new car because mine wont last another month itll cost more to fix it than to buy a new one and I need to buy things and prepare for baby with that money. I dont know what to do. Im mad because I told the lady I wasnt even ready to enroll in the first place and now Im stuck. Jasa
