Inbox Question: (REMEMBER OUR HELPFUL ANSWERS ONLY POLICY!) Can you post this anonymously please? I am looking for some advice. Since we moved here my husband has had a really hard time in his new unit. He has been in the army for 10 years and has never had any issues until now. He comes home from work really demoralized and down. He says that everyone in the unit is demoralized as well. I am not one to get involved in his work life, just like I dont think it would be appropriate for him to get involved in mine, but I dont know how to help him or what direction to point him in. I have witnessed his toxic leadership- they are very unclear in their communication and when he tried to get clarification, he gets yelled at or belittled. This is only one example of the kinds of things they do. Taking it up the Chain of command doesnt seem to be an option either because the upper level NCOs are all buddies. In the civilian world I know you can talk to HR when you feel like someone is creating a hostile work environment. Is there an equivalent in the military? Any advice is appreciated. TIA
