Inbox message: No names will be mentioned. Brother: Ustadh to me it seems that you are not a Sunni-Maliki at all, all you do is post things about the Ahlul-Bayt and so you are like a Rafidi. I am saying this as a Sunni who follows the Madhab of Imam Shafi. Me: Wasnt Imam Shafi called a Rafidi {rejector} because of his love for the Ahlul-Bayt. And wouldnt I have to reject the Caliphates of the Shaykayn, Abu Bakr and Umar, May Allah be pleased with them, in order to be called what you are calling me. Brother: All you do is praise Ali, so you are putting him above the rest of the Sahaba and that position is for Abu Bakr only. Me: Well in the Quran, Allah does say that he exalts people in ranks above others and it is not Haram to have a favorite Sahabi/Ahlul-Bayt and mine is Ali ibn Abi Talib. Brother: This is what I mean, you are a Rafidi. Me: Imam Hasan al-Basri says that when you speak about someone behind their back then you are giving your deeds to them on a golden plate. Brother: I am going to let people know you are a Shia, even behind your back. Me: Allah Knows the Hearts and that which is within it. Brother: This is true and you are a Shia/Rafidi. Me: As-Salamu Alaykum Brother: Silence lol :) Too much going on in the world for me to take these attacks serious and so I posted it an example of a sectarian mindset. May Allah guide us all. If we think someone is wrong, then as Imam an-Nawawi and all of the great scholars would say = We have to guide them towards the truth, not bash people with the anvil of Shaytan.
