Incendiary words indeed. I have long spoken about this extreme arrogance within the ranks of law enforcement. This guy, the head of the police union is pissed, emotional and rightfully so. But to say protesters are the CAUSE of the officers murder is straight OUT inflammatory, stupid and wrong. What IS wrong is the union president at no time mentions the idiots who the day before were mocking the death of Eric Garner by wearing their I can breathe shirts. At no time either unlike Commissioner Bratton has the union president apologized for the unprovoked, recent shooting death of Akai Gurley in Brooklyn and that of Eric Garner. What were starting to see is a troubling pattern from the police unions in NOT accepting responsibility for their officers continuous unlawful acts and oppressive, antiquated behaviors. This Pharoah like arrogance reminiscent of the biblical Moses fighting a hard headed jackass continues to be real today.
