Incidental – 06182012 from the Book of Incidentals by Douglas John Vergara Three Important Words Three very important words in human relationship are, "I love you" but there are three more words just as important in a relationship.... "I need you" and they are just as important as the first three. So many people I see spend time together but they are not together. Two sit at a table in a restaurant and each reads a newspaper, or each is perusing their emails and news on the cell phones, or they just sitting there silently eating their food, but in the truest sense of the word they are not together. The span of time in their marriage or relationship should not dictate the loss of interest in each other. They should spend their lives together sharing ideas and emotions not living in separated bubbles that the only connection is the fact that they once took vows and are pledged to each other.
