Rescue 115 arrived on scene at the same time as the Goleen CG boat and the boat recovered both persons wearing lifejackets out of the water. CG boat brought them ashore and R115 landed to check them out. Both OK. Goleen team returned both to their homes by jeep and Castletown lifeboat righted their boat and towed it ashore. Sligo CG heli tasked to carry out medevac from Killybegs but visibility too bad on scene. Ambulance and Killybegs CG team decanted to Fintra GAA pitch where the helicopter landed and completed the medevac. Ballycotton lifeboat rescued one kayaker onboard who was in difficulty and escorted three more in. Kilkee CG investigated a slick that is coming from a sunken vessel off Carrigaholt Aranmore lifeboat carried out a medevac of a young child to the mainland. Shannon R115 tasked for missing persons search near Reemore but RTB when casualty found deceased. RIP.
