Inciweb: Lost Lake Fire Area Closure Change (Lost Lake Fire Wildfire): Fire Information Contact: Kristie Salzmann 307.250.0148 Cody Wyo. (September 12 2013) – The area closure has changed for the Lost Lake Fire in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness on the Shoshone National Forest. Lost Lake Trail (Trail #617) is now the only closure in the area of the fire. Even though the area closure has shifted to a trail closure the Lost Lake Fire is not out and hazards remain. Visitors to the area are asked to remain vigilant as conditions can change. Information and updates are available on the Forest website (fs.usda.gov/shoshone/) on Twitter (@ShoshoneNF) and at inciweb.org.
