Inciweb: Two Top Fire Morning Update- Wed September 4, 2013 (Two Top Fire Wildfire): Two Top Fire Fire Update Tuesday, September 4, 2013 Morning Contact: Marianne Baumberger (406) 579-3732 DATE OF DETECTION: Friday, August 30, 2013 CAUSE: Lightning CURRENT SIZE: Approximately 137 acres CONTAINMENT: 50 % LOCATION: The fire is located on the Continental Divide northwest of Reas Pass. It is approximately 8 air miles from the town of West Yellowstone. AGENCY: Gallatin National Forest and Caribou-Targhee National Forest PERSONNEL AND RESOURCES: 1-large helicopter, 3 medium helicopters, and 1 light helicopter; 176 firefighters and support personnel. Pecos Zone Type 3 Team from New Mexico is supporting firefighting efforts. YESTERDAY’S ACTIVITY: Despite afternoon sunshine and warmer temperatures, little smoke was seen from West Yellowstone again today. Crews continued progression on digging fire line along the north flank of the fire.
