Incorrect News: "MOU signed for 6,600 MW Coal-run plants". Actual News: "MOUS singed for 6,00 MW IMPORTED Coal-run plants". When will our decision makers and our research institutions grow up to start using local coal and local expertise to solve our problems. Last time we built a steel mill which will work on imported ore, coke and material and it never cut over to domestic ore, coke or material. Now we are doing the same for Coal-run plants. I would have liked to see a news like "Govt with help of public sector universities and indigenous know-how launches ambitious project to produce 1,000 mega watts of power from local coal in 5 years or less".
