When one complains of the asphyxiating stench emanating from the moral cavalcade that had become the legacy of the political class, one is demonized as a sectarian bigot and religious extremist. Yet the movement to destruction remains indubitable! One did not fail to inveigh the Speaker of the House of Representatives when he came in a chartered flight to Edo just to attend a birthday party! Yet one would not hesitate to state that whereas the president of the Senate and speakerHouse of Representatives while not laying any claim to immaculation, have demonstrated gargantuan dexterity in the management of men. These two leaders are prodigiously cerebral and firm in dealing with issues of national importance! One watched with admiration the sagacity with which the president and speaker dealt with the issues that had threatened to pulverize the national Assembly! Unfortunately, at the presidency so much mental nonage has been exuded! Hopes are brazenly buried in the quagmire of political incompetence power inebriation. Both the Senate president and speaker House of Representatives are PDP. Senior members at that. They have shown to all that they are in charge. They are not concerned with how long they hold power, but how effective they do even if it is for a day. This is how a leader should be. Flexible yet absolutely firm. The National Assembly has repeatedly inveigh the Rivers CP for his unprofessional deportment in the state! Danbaba had before Mbu behaved in like manner under Abacha. Today the day of judgment has come for him! Amechi was a product of moribund judicial system. One is not sure if one were to be in Rivers he will merit ones vote. Nevertheless it does not matter how much one loathes him, the truth must be told he is been persecuted for daring to differ with the oga wife! For those who will label us no problem but let them know what you have approved for others shall be your lot someday! If not now certainly before God!
