Incredible race day for 5 islands ultra and Guernsey ultra. Dave Minchin flew rounding 6 hrs 12 min. Hotly pursued by Daniel Munns 2 seconds later.Dave Leith posted strong time of 6:33. Run of the day has to be Simon Todd with a strong time of 6:57as he also had lost bag and had a tough first day. Leanne was 3rd in at 6.14 and uta at 6:19 despite getting lost. Real shame uta didnt get to jersey. We are all in Alderney ready to race at 10am. Results so far. Leanne 14hrs9min . Stuart Paton 15:33 . Simon Todd 16:20 . Nick guy 17:16 . Nick Thorne 17:27 . Steve Hayes 17:28 . Peter wright 17:32. Uta Baird. Daniel Munns and Simon dorey all still running but going for 4 islands. Although Leanne is proving an incredible runner the real battle is between the four men who have only 16 minutes between them so all to play over the last three islands. All 10 runners have shown incredible strength and determination in horrible weather on tough routes. So please big it up for all of Team 5 islands from first place to runners further down the field.
