Incredible story of Israeli innovation and aid to injured Syrian man: Israeli doctors reconstructed the face of a 23 year old Syrian man wounded in Syrias civil war with a custom-made 3D printed Titanium jaw. The man reached Rambam Health Care Campus in critical condition, after a bullet had completely destroyed his lower jaw, rendering him unable to speak or eat. One day after the pioneering new operation, the patient was eating and speaking. Since last year, more than 700 wounded Syrians have been treated in Israeli hospitals via the Syria-Israel border crossing.
