Incredible weekend this weekend, one I will forever cherish. Unfortunately it lead to one of the darkest Black Mondays I have ever had. And in trying to get help for my constant dizziness, also being a major contributor, I am basically accused of lying by the doctor, told my dizziness is all anxiety yet is confused when I ask if I need to see my psychiatrist to get blood drawn from the mental side to rule anything out from there or if she will take those as well. And then, despite me telling her how difficult it is for me to keep together, as she is watching me fight back tears, she is baffled as to why I am afraid I am going to be going to a mental hospital. Then when I try to talk about a pineal gland tumor I was diagnosed with when I was having Lithium induced seizures, after she initially said there was no test for it, basically saying I was lying because there is no way to know if you have one, and a tumor I have absolutely no recollection of learning about, much less the MRI that diagnosed it. Then she grilled me like a detective of a rape victim, with every question is the accusation that you are full of it, and then told that tumors dont grow. And to top it all of, after telling her that I found it insulting to be so readily pushed of onto the mental health with no attempts to find anything physical, on the aftercare sheet I was given, she diagnosed me with fatigue. Some how, that was one diagnosis that did not come up in our discussion. Then I tried to follow up on the mental side, and try to get in to see a therapist only to find out there are only two therapist for the whole county, and one is called away on a family emergency for a month. So instead of getting in to see somebody to get help, Im given an 800 number to call. This is the healthcare we are stealing from the rich. Some how I feel I am stealing dirty underwear.
